Hello,Due to an increase in hacking attempts across the internet in the past few days using security holes in old Wordpress installations we are asking all our customers to ensure that all of their wordpress installations and plugins are up to date. These are often the weak point through which hackers attempt to gain access to your website and any related databases. We would also strongly recommend deleting any unused Wordpress installations.
Earlier this week in order to help protect you against any hacking attempts we also took the decision to reset all our customer's cPanel passwords. If you haven't already contacted us at admin@magicgenie.co.uk about this please do so and we will issue you with a new password. Once issued with this new password you will then need to login to cPanel and change the passwords on your email accounts that relate to your websites.
